5. Arrangements for repatriation of funds

Foreign investors who have permission to invest in convertible currency will be allowed to take the following amounts out of Nepal in convertible currency at the market exchange rate:-

5.1 Shares of some or all of the foreign investment. Proceeds from sale 5.2 Proceeds received as profits and dividends on foreign investments 5.3 Proceeds received as payment of principal and interest on foreign loans 5.4 Proceeds received under technology transfer agreements 5.5 Received as compensation for acquisition of any assets Amount, 5.6 The expert working in Nepali industry in a country where foreign currency is in circulation after receiving approval will be allowed to take back up to 75 percent of the amount received as salary, allowance, etc. in foreign currency.
